Rent your equipment here in El Yaque
There are 7 windsurf schools and rental shops on El Yaque beach and just as many kitesurf schools and rentals. These rental shops carry nearly every brand of kite and windsurf equipment known. So if you have a certain preference of equipment it can be found for rent here. Lessons are readily available from all the kite surf and windsurf schools upon an appointment basis from certified instructors. Surfaris to other islands are available at many of the rental shops. Side trips include-kitebeach on a daily scheduled basis-trips to Coche (our sister island in front of El Yaque) are chartered on a regular basis as are trips to the island of Cubagua. We here at Posada Margarita will be happy to arrainge your rentals for you in advance of arrival but please allow as much time as possible for reservations as the rentals get busy in high season. There are French, American, and German run operations so you have your choice not only of equipment but the language you want to deal with. Please contact us for information. Bringing your own equipment is another option but has become costly as of late-check with your airline. Equipment storage at one of the rental centers runs about $150 per month on the average.
